What my $10 gets me
You stake $10. In return you get one real destination with a live, bookable fare behind it — plus 3 places to stay and 3 things worth doing there, already written up. Then you decide: book it, or bail and forfeit the stake.
- 57 destinations across 11 regions
- 342 stays & things to do, already written
- 1 verified, bookable answer
The hours you don't spend
Picking where to go is the worst part of a trip. Thirty tabs, four flight sites, a spreadsheet you abandon, and a week later you still haven't booked. Book or Bail does the deciding and hands you one answer you can act on today.
- 57 destinations across 11 regions, narrowed by your vibe, budget, origin and dates
- 4 trip vibes that actually filter the pool — a beach shortlist never includes a ski town
- One answer, start to finish, in about the time it takes to read this page
Somebody already did the homework
Landing on a destination is only half the problem — then you need somewhere to sleep and something to do. Every destination comes with 3 stays and 3 things worth doing, written up and waiting the moment you accept. Not a search box. Named places, with a reason attached.
- Stays split three ways: the splurge, the one with a point of view, and the genuinely smart cheaper pick
- 3 things worth leaving the hotel for, chosen for that specific place
- 342 picks across all 57 destinations — wherever you land, it's already written
A real fare, not a screenshot
Every destination you could land on has a live, bookable fare behind it before you ever see it, and we check it again at the moment you stamp your pass. This is the bit a deal feed or a chatbot structurally cannot do: they can suggest a price, but nobody re-verified it for you just now.
- Live flight pricing verified against real inventory, then re-verified at the reveal
- Your decision clock is the airline's own fare expiry — not a countdown we invented to rush you
- If the fare can't be re-verified in time, that's our fault, not yours, and your $10 is refunded automatically
A plan you can actually work through
Accepting doesn't dump you on a confirmation page. You get a checklist — flight, stay, things to do, insurance — that remembers what you've already booked, and the whole thing lands in your inbox with a link that drops you back exactly where you left off.
- Every outbound link carries your real dates and party size — no re-typing the search
- Tick things off as you book them; the plan saves your progress
- Emailed to you with a resume link, so it's still there next week
Why not just ask an AI?
Ask a chatbot where to go and you get a list. A good list, probably. But it can't tell you whether a seat exists on your dates, what it costs right now, or whether that price survives the next hour — and it has no stake in whether you ever book.
You get one destination, a fare verified against real inventory and checked again as you reveal it, the stays and the plans already written, and a decision with a clock on it. The $10 is the difference between a suggestion you'll scroll past and a trip you'll actually take.
If you bail, the $10 is gone
That's the deal, and we'd rather you read it here than discover it later. Accept and the stake bought you the trip and the plan. Bail — or let the fare expire — and you forfeit it. There is no cooldown either way: stake another $10 and go again whenever you like. The one exception is our own fault: if the fare can't be re-verified, you're refunded automatically.
Full terms are on the terms page. The mechanics, step by step, are on how it works.
Questions
- Why wouldn't I just ask an AI where to go?
- An AI gives you a suggestion. It can't tell you whether a seat exists on your dates, what it costs right now, or whether that price will still be there in an hour — and it has no stake in you actually going. Book or Bail hands you one destination with a live, bookable fare behind it, three places to stay and three things to do already written up, and a real decision to make before the fare expires. The $10 is what turns a suggestion you'll ignore into a trip you'll take.
- So what exactly am I paying for?
- The $10 covers the live fare verification, the reveal, and the curated plan — 3 stays and 3 things to do for your destination, plus the booking checklist emailed to you. It is not a deposit and it does not come off the price of the trip.
- Do I book the trip through you?
- No. You book it yourself, through the airline or hotel, using links we hand you that carry your real dates and party size. Book or Bail chooses and verifies the trip; it never takes your booking.
- What happens if I bail?
- The $10 is forfeited and nothing else happens — no cooldown, no penalty. You can stake another $10 and play again straight away. That's the whole point of the name: the stake is what makes the decision real.
- What if the trip turns out not to be bookable?
- Then it's on us, not you. If the fare can't be re-verified when you go to reveal it, your $10 is refunded automatically — you don't have to ask.
